Maris completes Ebimotors team for Le Mans

Last Thursday the line up of the drivers taking part to the 86^th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race was drawn up. This is the most important and prestigious endurance race of the world and it is organised by ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) and scheduled on June 16^th and 17th.

Erik Maris completes Ebimotors team together with the already confirmed drivers, Christina Nielsen and Fabio Babini on Porsche 911 RSR #80 car in the GTE Am category. For the fifty-four-year-old French driver, this will be his own fifth attendance to the 24 Hours of Le Mans race: the first three times he was driving a LMP2 prototype while in 2014 he raced on a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR car for the IMSA Performance team in the LM GTE Am category.

`This will be my first time on a Porsche 911 RSR GTE in the 24 Hours of Le Mans´, Maris said to Endurance-Info. `I’m happy and I think this Porsche is a great car and if I can get past the finish line also this time, it will be perfect.´

The aim is to perform well as the crew is remarkable and know this unique race well. At the moment the cars taking part to this event in the LM GTE Am category are thirteen.
