Ebimotors: unfortunate drop-out in Michelin Le Mans Cup at Le Castellet

The second round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup 2025 season left a sour taste in Ebimotors team’s mouth. The French round at the Paul Ricard circuit did not see the colourful Porsche 911 (992) GT3 R number 95 of the team from Cermenate (CO) cross the finish line.

The car, driven by the duo of Fabrizio Broggi and Sergiu Nicolae, came into contact with an LMP3 class prototype. Behind the wheel at the time of the accident was Fabrizio Broggi, who was racking up a series of very fast and flawless laps. Damage to the front did not make it feasible to continue the race safely, so the team bitterly raised the white flag. It was a real shame given the feeling both drivers had shown on the track at Le Castellet, improving lap after lap.

The drop-out clearly weighs on the championship standings, although Ebimotors can hope for a positive future as to the enormous progress that both Fabrizio Broggi and Sergiu Nicolae are showing on the track, both on the single lap and on the race pace.

The next round, the most prestigious of the season, takes place in just over a month at Le Mans. We will see Ebimotors having an axe to grind and with “Carlotta” ready for redemption!
